At Maven, we prioritise hands-on learning. For trader graduates, after a short training programme, you will join a trading desk, take ownership of your own spot, manage risk, and continuously work to refine your strategies.

For our Quantitative Researchers, the journey is equally immersive. Working in close collaboration with trading teams, you will perform research and develop models in partnership with both traders and technology groups to deliver impactful solutions.

Ivy Lo-fo-sang

Born and raised in Amsterdam, Ivy began her career by balancing her studies with work as a sports instructor. Her career took a pivotal turn when she joined a film production company, where she eventually became part of the management team. This experience laid the foundation for her next chapter, collaborating with agencies and production companies. Seeking new challenges and a broader scope, she moved to the Maven Group, a rapidly expanding organization in Amsterdam. In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Ivy was asked to develop a Diversity Program for the Netherlands.

Karyna Nechyporuk

Karyna is a trader at Maven. She has loved maths since primary school and went on to study it at Cambridge. Even though she enjoyed university, she always had an entrepreneurial mindset and couldn’t imagine herself in academia. She tried teaching and did a spring week at a bank, but was still searching for a direction that appealed to her.

Trading ended up matching all the boxes. It offered constant intellectual challenge, innovation, and the chance to work with like-minded people.

Outside of work, Karyna enjoys picking up new hobbies that vary from aerial sports to guitar classes. Maths and trading, however, have stayed at the core of her day-to-day life
