What is the

Librae Advisory Board?

The Librae Advisory Board is a group of experienced professionals who support the operational board of Librae through strategic advice, external perspective and continuity.

The Advisory Board is intended to:

  • support long-term sustainability

  • provide guidance during organisational growth

  • help identify operational or strategic risks early

  • support continuity between changing student boards

The role is fully advisory:

  • no operational management

  • no legal responsibility

  • no financial liability

  • no day-to-day involvement

The operational board remains fully responsible for the execution and management of Librae.

Librae has grown significantly over the years. We have larger events, more partnerships, larger budgets and faced broader operational complexity. At the same time, Librae remains a student-led non-profit organisation with yearly board transitions.

Purpose of the

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board is intended to:

  • provide continuity

  • preserve institutional knowledge

  • support sustainable decision making

  • help prevent organizational overextension

  • create a stronger support structure for future boards

  • protect librae’s mission and values across board generations.

Important

Principles

The Advisory Board:

  • advises, but does not govern

  • supports, but does not operationally manage

  • challenges constructively, but does not micromanage
