Hello everyone, I'm Loes Tielen, and I'm thrilled to be part of this mentorship program. My academic journey started with a degree in Industrial Design at TU Delft, followed by a master's in Design for Interaction. Through my professional ventures, I've had the privilege of working on impactful projects.
After my studies, I delved into social design and research at Erasmus Hospital. There, I collaborated with healthcare professionals and children facing brain diseases to develop an app that empowers young patients to comprehend medical tests and actively engage in conversations with their doctors.
My career further evolved during my tenure as a Design Thinking Consultant at KPMG, where I contributed to projects for public institutions like the “Belastingdienst” and the IMG in Groningen. Currently, I bring my expertise as a CX Designer at the Municipality of Eindhoven, focusing on enhancing the services through customer journey analysis and resident engagement.
In this mentorship role, I aim to share my diverse experiences in service design, user experience, and navigating the professional landscape. Whether you're exploring a career in design (research) or customer experience, I'm here to provide insights and guidance to help you in your journey.
