Flien Groeneveld
I’m Flien Groeneveld, founder of TREND& (TREND& | Strategy & Design), a strategic design agency that mixes design and strategy: Creating designs with a strategic approach, and strategies with a design mindset. I believe a design mindset is essential in the age of AI - it helps us shape technology around people, not the other way around. I love helping organizations explore how AI can add real value. For example, I’ve led an AI workshop for creative teams at HEMA, supported municipalities in automating tasks, and worked with asr on AI for financial decision-making.
Today, I’m also a Corporate Management Trainee at KLM, a two-year program that develops future leaders, where I’m working on four strategic projects focused on making the organization more innovative and future-ready.
Two years ago, I attended the Librae Dinner as a student - and I’m excited to now return, share experiences and exchange ideas!

Mathilde Bolt
I have been fascinated by aviation for as long as I can remember. As a child, I loved the series Air Crash Investigation and dreamed of becoming a flight attendant or even a pilot. After finishing high school, I made that dream come true by working as a flight attendant. To explore whether becoming a pilot was right for me, I took up gliding (flying an aircraft without an engine) at the age of 15, which only deepened my love for aviation. However, my curiosity about how aircraft actually work led me to study Aeronautical Engineering in Delft.
During my studies, I was often one of the few girls during lectures, but that challenged me to stand out and show what I was capable of. I also gained internship experience with the Royal Netherlands Air Force and the Dutch Safety Board.
At a company event, I discovered the Netherlands Aerospace Centre (NLR), where I later found my dream job. As a ‘Vakreferent Lucht- en Ruimtevaart’ (Aerospace Information Specialist), I combine technical expertise, analytical skills, and a people-oriented approach. I also contribute to the Emerging Technologies program and the Smarter Foresight project, where my passion for innovation and defence comes together. Outside of work, I enjoy motorcycling, running, cycling, and cooking – always seeking new energy and inspiration.

Anna Klapwijk
Changing systems – at scale. That has been the red thread in my career. After I graduated in Delft (after arriving as a Dutch ‘international’ student) as a Strategic Product Designer I started working at a large consulting firm Deloitte. I rode the Gartner hype cycle during the time Blockchain tech was hot as part of the Blockchain Team. For years I was the only woman. But I had always been the odd one from the group, following my own path. I then worked in the Strategy & Innovation team, mainly working on digital transformations and new propositions. Social impact and inequality was always a big driver for me and after a sabbatical of a year, followed by a failed venture in the Venture Capital space I am now working on getting more women into entrepreneurship and helping them in their journey.
